WEEK 32

PART 25- TRYING FOR ANOTHER BLOG SERIES

WEEK 32

The first few days of this week I felt like there was no growth and it started to scare me. On Monday I went to Acorn Chiropractic (knowing that Dr. Jen would be working) to try and get a measurement. I was measuring 29.5 cms, which kept me right on track. I immediately felt so relieved!

Over the next few days, I experienced a lot of growth. I’ve stopped taking daily pictures of myself because I feel pretty confident that I am indeed growing.

I’m slowing down too. I’m feeling similar to how I did in the first trimester: exhausted for no dang reason. It’s been a ridiculously hot week too- and I just cannot bear the heat while I’m pregnant. I don’t remember that with my other pregnancies, but this one I feel like I’m going to explode, die, melt or all of them together when I’m in 90+ degree heat. Even the mid to high 80’s really takes it out of me, leaving me feeling exhausted.

I also can’t have coffee without food in my belly first nowadays. I’ve started making chia seed pudding which is so delicious. Here’s the recipe I’ve been using as my base: https://wellnessmama.com/recipes/chia-seed-pudding/ and then I add whatever toppings: mango and almond are my favorite. I typically use regular milk rather than almond milk. Chia seeds have more Omega-3s than salmon!

This baby is insanely active. Unlike anything I’ve experienced in my prior pregnancies. I was walking the other day and the baby was turning and twirling all around. I had to stop a few times because the jabs took the wind out of me. The baby is most active at night, which is how my others have also been, but this one takes active to a whole new level.

I’ve been referring to baby as “he.” Just feels natural to me, but I’m definitely not married to the idea.

That’s all for this week.
